How To Remove Marker Stains From Your Carpet?

If for some reason there are marker stains on your favourite carpet then keep on reading because I will teach you how to remove them. It’s actually super easy and you don’t need any fancy cleaners – just a few household items you already most likely have in your home.

So if you want to know how to remove marker stains from your carpet – keep on reading!

Here Is What You Need To Do!

– The First Stain Removal Method

Start off with pouring rubbing alcohol on a white cloth. I have seen people using hairspray, however, this hack would have worked in the past because hairsprays used to be made with rubbing alcohol – but they no longer contain this ingredient in them. So instead just go for using rubbing alcohol alone!

Then dab the stain with the cloth for a few minutes. You will notice that the marker will start to transfer from the carpet to the cloth. Repeat these steps as many times as necessary until the stain is completely removed.

And that’s it – you don’t have to rinse or clean the area after because the rubbing alcohol will evaporate very quickly and it won’t leave any mark behind!

– The Second Stain Removal Method

If for some reason you don’t want to use the first method I showed you – I have a backup one so don’t worry!

Grab a cloth and blot the marker from the surface. You want to be quick so don’t wait for it to dry – immediately grab the cloth and get to work!

Then dampen another cloth, pour a bit of dish soap into it, and blot the affected area. After a few minutes, the marker will start to fade. Continue until the stain is removed completely.

And then you need to rinse the area because if you leave the soap on the carpet, it will attract dirt, dust, and impurities that will eventually form a dirty patch – and no one want that!
