Baking sheets are an essential part of our lives – regardless of whether you enjoy cooking or not. This, of course, means that they are often covered in build-up, greasy stains, spilt sauce, burnt food, and all sorts of other impurities you definitely do not want on there! Many people choose to throw away their baking sheets after using them a certain amount of time but I like to clean them and use them for a long period of time! And I know you probably think that the cleaning process is hard and will require a lot of time and scrubbing; however, it actually doesn’t – it’s very easy!
If you too want to learn how to clean your baking sheet (without too much effort) then keep on reading!
Prepare Three Things
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Baking soda
- A sponge
Yes, this is all you need to clean your baking sheets – no fancy ingredients or cleaners, just baking soda and hydrogen peroxide!
Now that you have everything you need ready, sprinkle baking soda on the sheet. Then pour a little bit of the hydrogen peroxide and sprinkle some more baking soda on top of that.
Once you do that – let everything sit for at least 2 hours so that the ingredients can work their magic.
Then it’s time to remove the mixture by wiping it away with a damp sponge. You don’t need to scrub – simply wipe. If you notice some stains haven’t been removed repeat the entire process on this area.
